Our Mission
MSA is an organization composed of children, parents, coaches, sponsors and spectators. Our goals are to promote the development of athletic skills through the teaching of fundamentals, while emphasizing the importance of sportsmanship in all activities. While we actively support the development of individual skills and goals, we stress the overarching importance of teamwork during play.
All MSA activities take place, first and foremost, for the benefit of children. Our programs and policies are geared toward developing athletic skills and sportsmanship in children. Our coaches are selected based on their ability to impart these skills and attitudes to the children, and are expected to lead by example. Finally, we anticipate the active involvement of parents in MSA activities on behalf of their children. Parental attitudes and behaviors greatly influence those of their children, and their involvement can provide the ultimate positive example.
MSA hopes that this serves as a clear statement of the principles we feel are embodied in MSA activities. We also trust that all adults involved with MSA will conduct themselves in accordance with these principles, for the benefit of our children.
| Sponsorship InformationMSA is actively seeking corporate donations/sponsors to fund various projects around the complex. These projects include field renovation and maintenance, major equipment purchases, batting cage maintenance and repair, just to name a few. Please share this information with your parents as they may own a business or work for someone who would be interested. Click here for more information on becoming a sponsor or to see our current sponsors. |
MSA Board MeetingsMSA Board meetings occur the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 pm. The meetings take place in the board room at Alberts Field. All are welcomed/encouraged to attend and view how/why your park decisions are made. All people serving on the board are volunteers. |
